FEATURE PRODUCTIONS

Instigator Films is dedicated to producing high quality independent feature films that resonate
with modern audiences. Free from any obligation to established funders, we can afford to be
truly independent and can push the envelope of subject matter and film technique to produce
what we believe are truly memorable film projects. We currently have a well developed slate
of feature projects encompassing a range of genres from contemporary drama to action thriller.

For 2008/2009 our main emphasis is on three feature projects:
"8.5 Hours", "Bloody Foreland" and "Seven Days On The Rollercoaster".

We are also developing several feature length documentary projects, details upon request.

Comprehensive information is available on all these projects to potential co-production partners,
distributors and broadcasters.

"8.5 HOURS"

Four office workers... one hell of a working day

"8.5 Hours" is a challenging and unflinching depiction of one extraordinary day in the lives of four characters who work in a small software company in modern Dublin. On one particular Monday, each character find his or her life in turmoil and undergoes a series of life changing events which unfold throughout the working day of 9 to 5.30, the 8.5 hours of the title.

"Bloody Foreland"

A place... A nightmare... A killing game

"Bloody Foreland" is an outrageous action thriller with a black comic edge. The story
centres on a group of young people who travel to a remote part of Donegal for a quiet
weekend away. However, instead of relaxing for a few days they get caught up in a
vicious battle between a gang of criminals and the bizarre character, 'Hole Head'.

This project is scheduled to go into production in late 2008.

cards right you're onto a winner. Its highly original and undoubtedly will be met with laughter and fear
in equal measure. Its so outrageous and yet you get away with it... A Hitchcockian blend...

"Seven Days On The Rollercoaster"

7 gruelling days... one life... last chance

“Seven Days On The Rollercoaster” depicts 7 days in the life of a binge drinking computer
programmer in modern Dublin. Starting from the trauma of a Monday morning hangover,
when his boss sacks him and tells him he has 7 days to get his job back, we are taken
through the dramas of each of his working days, nights and weekend. Compelling, funny,
bawdy, harrowing and thought provoking, its both a trip through modern white collar Ireland
and a poignant study of male self-destruction.

This project is scheduled to go into production in 2009.
